The Grand Pennington Ballroom at The Davenport Hotel was the perfect setting for this great party. The guests dressed in garb from their decade of choice from the last 100 years.

Any event is more fun when you get to work with people you like. We previously provided lighting for Marianne Guenther Bornhoft’s stunning wedding in the Marie Antoinette Ballroom, also at the Davenport Hotel. Not only is Marianne an exceptional Realtor, but she is a great party planner who brings together top level talent. Not only did she bring us in to help make the room look great and provide the music and fun, but she also had Spokane Photographer Ryan Lindberg on hand to capture the moments.

Following formalities it was time to dim the lights and turn up the fun.

Like I said before, weddings are my passion but other ridiculously fun events are always welcome!

The weather was better than you can ask for in September. Warm and sunny with no wind; also known as perfect. The ceremony was ridiculously gorgeous.

I couldn’t have asked for a nicer couple. Jara and Keigan were an absolute blast to work with.

 Every bride should be as relaxed as Jara was at their wedding reception. I’m sure the comfy couch helped.

I designed and projected their custom wedding monogram. The above photo show the monogram and Jara sharing a dance with her dad.  By projecting the monogram on the ceiling of the tent it makes for a dramatic element in the background of the photos.

As the evening came to a close I took the opportunity to take this photo of the tent lighting we did for the reception.

Jara and Keigan’s wedding was a smashing success for the wedding date of the year.

The prelude, ceremony, and dinner music were packed full of tunes from movie soundtracks and scores.  This was a perfect fit for this couple because they love movies almost as much as they love each other.

Beacon Hill is a beautiful location and the staff is always great to work with. I love outdoor wedding in September because it starts getting dark and cooling off about the time dancing starts.

During their first dance I took this photo. The light from the videographer’s camera created this movie like silhouette.

It was one of those amazing summer evenings in Spokane, dare I say magical. The kind of night that’s warm, but not too warm and the air is sweet and still.  When you add an amazing couple, great venue, wonderful family and friends, and the perfect music you end up with a wedding that you will remember fondly for many years.
